Mr. Thejaswaroop Prathapaneni is a passionate educationist with over 15 years of experience in the field of education. An alumnus of the prestigious Pondicherry Technical University, he began his career as an IT Architect with leading organizations such as TCS and IBM. However, his passion for teaching and mentoring civil services aspirants led him to transition into the field of education.
With a deep interest in economics, particularly the Austrian economy, and a commitment to fostering practical learning, Mr. Prathapaneni has always believed in the transformative power of education. He previously served as a trainer for the Bangalore Jewellery Association, further showcasing his diverse expertise. While teaching civil services aspirants, he envisioned an academy that would provide reality-based education to empower students to make a meaningful impact on society. This vision culminated in the founding of Pragnya IAS Academy.
Under his visionary leadership, Pragnya IAS Academy has grown exponentially over the past 15 years, establishing a presence in six states and earning the distinction of being India’s No. 1 academy for civil services training. The academy achieved remarkable milestones, including securing AIR 1 in the UPSC results of 2023.
An accomplished writer, Mr. Prathapaneni has contributed insightful articles to renowned publications such as Outlook Magazine, Business Standard, and Economic Times. Today, he has taken over Edvanta Degree College, with the goal of transforming it into a premier institution for nurturing leaders who can create a global impact while driving national progress.
